This is the bridge we cross each time we want to capture the pictures of the Eagles at the camping area known as "Birds Nest Lodge". It crossed the Meramac River about 30 feet off the water. It sounds like it could give way at anytime; but in 1914 things were built to last.

cariad Fascinating bridge although as you say some of it needs a little repair work. Lots of beautiful textures captured here...and love some of the perspectives

jlmphotos Great view. Love the "oldness" of the bridge, and the rust. However, kinda scary this is what we all have to drive on. Crumbling infrastructure across the US... So sad. Lets keep throwing more money into defense though....

danrav Karman, your shots are wonderful. They bring back great memories of my childhood and the bridges just like these that we played on in the coal mine regions of Western Pa. Wow.

djnana Karman, in my opinion, this is your best post yet. Your angles, focus, composition, lighting are all super! I really like #10, 11 & 16, but each one is worthy of it's own post. Great job!!
