Divorce causes children to cry, hurt, miss parents, and get to celebrate everything twice.
On Easter Sunday my Grand Monsters will be with their other side of the family....so this past weekend I was blessed to have my Goober Goose and my CoCoPoP able to spend the weekend. We colored eggs, we roasted hot dogs (inside on the burner of the smoker cause it was COLD outside), we spent a wonderful weekend together.
Goober Goose = Melissa Jane / Missa
CoCoPoP= James Michael / Jimmy
They are my Grand Monsters because when Missa was litte her and I would pretend we were Monsters and we would scare all the bad people in the world so they could not hurt us. That is how we dealt with the "Monsters" under her bed. :)
Goober Goose came about because she was being silly and I called her a goober; she looked me right in the eye and stated that she was a goose~laughing I called her a goober goose and it is our secret....
CoCoPop came about because of messy diapers. :(
My grandchildren are the world to me. I love them dearly and wish I could see them more.
They like staying at Grammy's house because we play in the yard, go fishing in the pond, watch movies, camp in the living room, laugh, play, and love each other completely......
