As the day ends, memories invade.

Below is some poetry that I wrote so many years ago that when I was searching on the internet seeking the perfect quote and came across them memories flooded the mind and the memories of those times evaded. I share with you not for any reason more than I need to share.....
Watching Him Paint
Cold, it is cold outside
Such harsh air is making me ache
The world today has made my heart crush
The sun sets into the houses that surround
My heart feels the pain of being forgotten
My eyes see the colors of remembrance
My heart hears the silence of nothing
My ears hear the songs of the birds
My heart dreams of hope
My heart watches the colors blend together
to see such beautiful artistry
is to know that God is out there.
The phone is just busy.
Stuck & Confused
Eyes open I enter the door
Looking around not sure why
Nothing looks familiar
The faces are the same
The smiles are so false
The feeling of immense stupidity
Engulfs my heart
I cannot leave
This is my life.....
Awake
To sit on a stool and stare at the stars
To sit in a pool and watch all the cars
To lay back in the grass and dream a great dream
To hope and to love and to cry and to scream
Life is just life with no guarantee
But without just this life there is really no me
I am glad today that I awoke
To sit on a stool and stare at the stars
To sit in a pool as watch all the cars
To lay back in the grass and dream a great dream
To hope and to love and to cry and to scream
This day to me, my Lord has given
My ambition to live, my heart is now driven
Lesson Learned: When you place your emotions to the public upon the social media of the internet; be prepared when you are reminded by a Google Search!

Great capture and lovely words............................putting words into poetry has always helped me I keep mine in a book and often read through them, reminding of both happy and sad times in my life.
