Beauty is only in the nose of the sipper.

Coffee manually
stirred, Ethiopian beans
just black, yes, just black

Pungent aroma
On taste, nay to tea. coffee!
but not just any.

Barista Tessa,
honored to watch the process
Blue State, yeS yEs yES!

I forgot how good coffee can get, and more so, I forgot how much I love it. You know it's a good cup of coffee when you can drink it black. What's in the process of grinding beans and pouring hot water through it that creates a dark liquid that carries such a decadent pre, present, and after taste?

I've always been verbally thankful (probably a little excessively) for my taste buds, but today, I exhale an appreciation for whatever goes on in my nose.
It's with the first sip from this cup of Ethiopian-bean-manually ground-$3-black cup of coffee at Blue State, watching the whole 10 minute process of making it, and chatting with the knowledgable barista that made me once again realize how...

dangerously happy I get for the moments of aromatic aesthetics that GOOD coffee brings at friendly coffee shops.
