Ugly one, we did NOT attempt to eat this..







The edible ones, washed and ready to cook....hmmm they don't look so yummy.

The taste test....and we are still alive!

Mum has found these edible mushrooms near her house, Saffron Milk Cup mushrooms and has become addicted to them. She has researched them thoroughly to check if they'll kill us or not. I tried some yesterday and they tasted OK, but I couldn't relax, I kept imagining strange toxins slowly killing me. We went out yesterday to pick some and found heaps of different mushrooms.

I'm off to Western Australia today for 5 weeks, catch up with you all when I get back, hopefully with some good shots!

Oh, yeah- my comment. I love the pics of the red ones- especially the red mushroom that almost looks polka dotted- great!
