The port of Derby, located on the tidal mud flats on the edge of the King Sound. Has the highest tidal range in Australi. Roughly where the Gibb River Road starts.

Just a termite mound, with a boab in the background. Classic Kimberley scene.

Tunnel Creek, a 750m tunnel through the Napier Range. We walked through with torch, about half way along you come to this section which has collapsed.

Windjana Gorge, just one of the many beautiful gorges we visited along the way. Most of them we could swim in, not this one though, full of crocs.

Now travelling eastwards, from Broome across the Kimberleys on the Gibb River Road into the Northern Territory.
The Gibb river Road was built in the 1970s to allow station owners to drive cattle from the massive inland Kimberley stations to remote ports on the Kimberley coast. It's really a 600km 'bush track' and is only traversable during the dry season by 4WD and allows access to many stunning remote gorges.

Nice views, nice landscapes, no 5 is a very nice tree in the sunlight, no 7 is a beauty too, also no. 9, here you could crop or a lot of sky of a lot of earth...... ( try with your scrollbar and see anothe result )
