Tuesday Inspiration and Content Aware Fail

Not perfect, but much better. You can still see some of the lines running through it where the cloning wasn't so hot. I could touch it up if I wasn't feeling so lazy.

I put the two images here so you can see the "theme" between the two. Also, it includes (I think) pretty good "theme" in the light on the clouds. A stretch, probably, but I've been a social butterfly lately and haven't had as much time for theme shoots.

I took this out the window of a car moving at pretty high speeds on the highway. There were, let's see....13 (Yep. 13. Count 'em) power lines running through this. When I got the photos on the computer, I heaved a huge sigh and figured I'd have to ditch them because I didn't feel like cloning out all those stupid lines and they pretty well ruined it.
Then I remembered my CS5 trial and content aware fill. SWEET!! .........Ooooooooooor.......not.

Problem is there were SO MANY lines that the parts of the image it was sampling from to fill also had lines so it didn't help much and filled with line fragments.
Ah well. Good news is I didn't have to clone them all out by hand as I did a bit more than half and then the content aware did a pretty decent job of filling in the rest for me. The tool is really neat to play with, so I won't fault it for this one. ;)
