Introduction:
I am co-producing and publishing a calendar to benefit a community.
Suffice to say, Its getting bitchy to some of the comments.
Here is my response:

Here are a few points to clarify the backlash calendar (as this is Lit's and my project)
1 - Who is paying for it to be printed
ME! (next moaner please)
2 - How has the costings been planned:
In your basic terms, we have taken the cost of the printing, the VAT and Royal Mail delivery.
Lit and myself have covered the cost of studio hire, flowers used in some photos, CD-R's, CPU time, processing time, call time and travel costs
Lit and I have donated Studio Time, Processing Time, MANY Hours of discussion to get to the final images.
3 - Is this Backlash endorsed or Backlash funded
Backlash, Lit and Muggins have discussed this. As I am funding this in printing terms, Backlash has NO fiscal responsibility to the project. I will seek to reclaim the costs of this, after which all money will be donated to backlash (and I will publish accounts for those who are REALLY interested)
4 - Why didn't we use professionals?
To be honest we wanted to show people who could be affected. Apart from that.. Who here does photography? and who here knows how much a fetish model costs per hour (I know - I've hired them). If you wanted to Bankrupt Lit and me, its the right way to go about it.
We wanted REAL people. Not people who can turn it on and fake it.
AND TO THOSE MODELS WHO GAVE THEIR TIME AND EFFORT, I'M STILL SAYING THANK YOU. YOU GOT OFF YOUR ASSES... AND MAD A DIFFERENCE.
Now yes, there has been problems (with printers and politicking). To be honest, here was my aims of the project
RAISE AWARENESS FOR BACKLASH
MAKE SOME MONEY FOR BACKLASH
Simple eh?
If you don't like the calendar, thank you for your interest. If you like the calender, but don't want it, but want to support Backlash, stick a fiver in the backlash tin and thank you.
