CHICAGO II Day 3 - The revenge of Central Standard Time
I've concluded that my body must still be on GMT after today. After waking up early again, I decided to return to my old stomping ground of Niles, Touhy Avenue and Lincolnwood for one reason.... Foodstuffs (it also gave a very nice long ride on the red line and the local buses that I remember).
After picking up enough oreos to sink a small ship (or maybe an Airbus A330-200) and Rice a Roni (dont't ask, it leads to more questions thank I care to answer) I meyandered my way back downtown, stopping off at the hersheys shop to tourture my coworkers.
After arriving back with my travelers lower back (back in pain where it belongs) I layed down to relax at 2.30pm. Next thing I knew, it was 5.30pm.
Oops.
The advil by this time had kicked in and kicked out. So after knocking another back, there was one priority: pizza!
As luck would have it I think the pizza density rate is slightly less than the starbucks densities (only just though)... So I dug into a nicely editble pizza, before going to face the world again.
(i needed it!)
Once fuelled, I thought an evening visit to the bean was needed... And thus it was done.
Today's pics
1) Pizza!
2-12) Millennium Park and the Bean (or the Cloud Gate)
13 and 14 - the bean at night
