The TARDIS is a time machine and spacecraft in the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who. (which has now surpassed "Star Trek" as the longest running show and most produced show) Its a police telephone box.. thats bigger on the inside than it is on the outside... See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TARDIS Imagine the Enterprise on a less well engineered scale, one person piloting Its a british thing ;)
