NASM - Boeing 707 and Le Concorde

2009.04.01

Both products of different ages, but both equal in their place in history

- The Boeing 707 - The aircraft that helped open the doors to mass airtravel, and the first commercially successful jet aircraft (only to be over taken by it's big sister - the 747 some years later). The 707 on display is the Dash-80 - the prototype unit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/367-80

- The Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde needs little introduction (least of all from me). This example is from the Air France (hence the reference to Le Concorde) F-BVFA (Frame 205) with her final flight on June 12th 2003. http://www.concordesst.com/205.html
