Clockwork and Orange

When we think of Switzerland, the word clockwork would come to mind. Not only because because of their famous watches and cuckoo clocks, but also because the whole country works like a well-oiled mechanical clockwork beast of incomparable efficiency.

But what's with all the orange? Everywhere we went, orange this, orange that. Tables, chairs, shopping bags, advertising campaigns, hair salons, chocolate wrappings. Even the tourists wore orange... :)

Every time went into a tunnel, I was half-expecting people to start yelling "Pa pa pap pap paaap, Generale!"

Orange telecommunications company predicted this in their slogan: "The future is bright, the future is Orange."
