In April of 06 I bought myself a camera for work. It turned out I use it more for personal photos than anything else. Photography has been wonderful--I have no formal training. I just like what catches my eye. My usual form of creativity is poetry and sketching. I find photography refreshing because it is in the moment--instant gratification!

Tony Benn once said, "Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure."

Your shots look like something out of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age"--how magnificent they look!
Tommie looks very pleased with his job as captain in number two.
Great shots!
thank you my friend!

I don't think Misty's tan is working!:)
The purple pansies are beautiful--great work!
I really liked your shot in number five. Your cat reminds me of my black and white tom named Baby. Great set.
Yeah, Misty tries hard, but she's not making much progress! ;) Thank you very much!

I don't think you can choose but the last one is very special. That looks like limestone. Where were these taken?
These were taken in Nevada County California not far from my home. This is part of the remains of hydrolic mining (early gold mining) which washed away the hills and really devstated the landscape. thanks for your comment.
