From the vault: xmas 1983?

We decided to dress up up for Xmas dinner. I am wearing a dress and jewellery I brought back from Afghanistan, and my friend dug up a suit at the Salvation Army Second Hand store.

We were having Xmas at the house of friends. (log house actually), Bridget, George, and Emily and Roz.

Making ice cream for dessert.
Emily (left) is now about thirty something, and a teacher in Northern B.C. Roz i(right) s also thirty something,and is a lawyer working for the U.N. in the Hague on various trials re Yugoslavian and African atrocities.; . |

after all those years and much moving about Canada for jobs and stuff, we all ended up `living in and around Victoria. 'Friend` and `friends` all came directly from up north (30 years a part) and me, ten years ago
