A small trek to Bachalpsee!

7:00 AM Saturday Morning : Rushing towards the train to Bern in platform no. 7, i was wondering how this one day trek would be. Being the first one outside India, i really had no idea how the terrain would be but was fully excited to see the less explored trekking route leading to a beautiful lake on the top of the Mt 'First' near Interlaken district. Reached Interlaken in about 1hr 40mins. Started our journey towards the Mt 'First'. The photographs start from there. We crossed some beautiful villages in between. One of them that caught my eyes was Grindelwald. What a beautiful village. I can't imagine how i left that place and came back. Its altogether a different middle earth! Sadly (for leaving Gindelwald), but happily left to Mt 'First' in cable car, capturing a bird's eye view of the beautiful village passing by. Reached the Mt and then for our surprise it was another paradise which made us forget the sadness of leaving the little village!....We were literally screaming and running here and there after getting down from the cable car. Very few people were getting ready for trekking / hiking by making their own trails.....We decided to split in directions as a basic and thumb rule of photography and decided to meet at the lake. The whole trek to one side to reach the lake resulted in few hours as we all were out there to capture the beautiful mother nature, but was bit disappointed due to the overcast sitiations. finally we all managed to meet at the lake aound 3 PM.....Others were cursing couple of us due to the delay and hunger, but when they saw the magic moments from our picture box, it all went fine!! :-)....We decided to trek back as we all were very hungry and it was getting late and no shops were unless in Interlaken. We got down waving our hands sadly to the Mt first and Bachalpsee lake for giving us a wonderful opportunity to know them....It was evening and we had our lunch thinking about that day's fabulous moments!!..Covered Interlaken in foot.....Got back into the train verifying the pictures once again. To be frank we were literally missing those trails that we couldn't stop looking at it.....Reached zurich about half past 11 PM and hit the sack, so was the tiredness....but fruitful!! :-)
