So sweet! Perfect! Really nice pared-back simplicity in this picture. Intuitively or otherwise you've placed the girl in exactly the right spot off centre, looking in. If you have Photoshop, Gimp or similar you might try a lighting effect to create a really different mood (or I'll have a go if you like).

Yeah, I had heard a "rule" once about making sure if your subject is looking off in one direction, give them some space to look into. I do the same thing when I'm scrapbooking - I place the photo on the page where it gives the subject space to be looking somewhere. Oh, and I emailed you the photo to see what you can do with it!
