Jack was saying good bye when we left for our trip to the high mountains in the centre of the island.

It´s only a tiny island, but the mountains are higher then 2000 metres.

I have to say i was very disappointed. First probably because i grew up in the Alps and moutains are nothing special for me. But then also, i had imagined the high mountains similar the high plateaus of Peru for example. Vast empty space with high winds and very authentic and untouched. This is not how it is. There seems to be no uncultivated spot on this island. The view is pretty, but it´s simply that. One pretty view standing at a small wall on a parking platform.

i love trees and light

but in the end i found a spot with air and red soil and no parking place and people and cars and i was somewhat consoled.

this is where the people here come to have barbeques on the weekend. Benches and fireplaces between some trees. Not the kind of ambiente i can enjoy.

on our way home horses in the twilight in a small village. I was happy to be away from home, we bought some honey in a small restaurant and had a cup of tea. It was good. Every minute i can spend with my love in peace and happiness is good and every day with some of those moments is a good day.

Jaramiel Precioso paisajes, que nos llegan porque alguien los ha visto. ¡Gracias, Kyra!

Zedsdead I found myself worrying about who was going to feed the dogs. I like the way I am left without words to describe the way your photo sets affect me. ?:o)
