when i first moved to this island, my mother was wondering whether the people are different here. There are no political conflicts to speak of, it´s always sunny and warm, no hardship of seasons or weather. Does it mean the people are more happy and more relaxed?
Not in this family. We had another day that was like a battle field - at least for part of the day. |
Don´t worry, you tell me. I´m used to that. How can someobdy get used to being tortured by another person? If somebody believes one needs a knife or a pistol or a bomb to kill another person, think again. I can tell this person that words are sufficient. You don´t say much. You wipe some tears from your eyes afterwards and sometimes you shake your head in disbelief. What else is left?

outside the short period of " winter" is over. The sun is hot again and the streets are filled with blossoms and fragrance. Everywhere the colors are dancing.

i try to find your face underneath the pain and i dress you in tenderness and soft dreams. You will paint a summer face for yourself and you will hear the music again that makes you happy.

there is a gentleness in our sorrow, as if a long lasting sharp pain loses its edge. We will be able to turn the page. You will be able to fly.

at the end of the week we will fly to the neighbour island to visit friends and get away from it all. it will be good. it will be all good.......

#5 is a very haunting imagage, but #1 clean blows me away. i like the trick of making quite subdued colour leap out of the image.- so very rich - as in #4 especially. ?:o)
