this is not a chronological report, simply our impressions and thoughts and feelings looking back on the week away.
My first glance out of the window when we arrived in the tiny apartment in a small village at the ocean.

on a walk along the cliffs the view back down to the village. I love to hear the ocean. Our silence grew like a flower and the stress of our normal life took the ocean away. Time to breathe with eyes wide open for the sky.

what did we do all week? not much. Our friends were afraid we would get bored, but we laughed. Bored? How can we get bored as long as there is the ocean and birds and clouds and the hand of the other one and our smile..........

i adore empty landscapes. I feel at home when i don´t see houses and streets and civilization. My head opens and the clouds drift through my brain. My feet spread into the muscles of the Earth and my fingers linger in the valleys of the landscape. I breathe the Earth and the Earth is breathing me. It´s a dialogue that keeps me sane and makes me happy.

i wasn´t too interested in taking pictures, therefore the majority of pictures on this trip are taken by Esther.

This is one of mine though.......i loved those soft mountains. They felt female to me, round, gentle, smooth.

And then there was the ocean and the beaches. There will be more, but for today only one of my love walking in the wind. I like the abstraction, because for me it shows the union between human shape and nature more clearly.

another one of those empty landscape pictures. I can drink the energy of the air and the Earth and for me it´s like nutrition in a very concrete way.

all ways go to nowhere and it feels as if it´s not important any longer to arrive. Nothing is left but the moment in a journey that is eternal.

nothing is left but a dance in the wind......

photopoet I am incredibly moved by this series—it's poignant, beautifully realized, and full of romanticism. I read your profile through these photos—and love the feminine softness of shapes and colours. My favorite photo is the sixth. It reminds of of a muted Japanese scene.
