Sunset Shooting

2008.11.08
That's Ryzan on the left, Donald in the middle and Ryzan's fiancee ont he right.

My shot of sunset.

I got 2 friends who purchased the new Sony Alpha A350. Both are still relatively new to the dslr world. I met Ryzan online at alphanatics.com, while I met Donald at the local Sony retail shop in Wisma Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu.

So we arranged a simple sharing session to introduce them to some simple photography concepts and then proceed to take some nice sunset shots. We sat down at a restaurant in Jesselton Point, called NASI PADANG IBU (nice, decent food btw) and discussed for close to 2 hours. Hahaha.... talked a lot.

After that, we head out to the jetty at Jesselton Point to shoot some sunset. Overall a nice 1/2 day out for me.... relaxing, especially with the sunset and all that. I love the KK sunset. It is just simply beautiful.

vidic Icic. Then, did u used any filter?

kysham I only have a UV filter that is there more as a protection against scratches rather than to improve the picture. Otherwise, no filters are normally required for sunset shots I took, unless if you want special effects.
