I finally managed to secure a 70-200 F2.8 lens! I had been waiting and looking for a lens within this range for such a long time. Lusting after it is no joke.... The lens I got:
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 II EX APO DG Macro HSM (what a mouthful).
This lens uses the HSM in lens motor. It is essentially the same concept as the SSM technology inside Sony's higher class lenses. The benefit of this HSM is super smooth focusing, compared to that from a traditional in-body screw drive motor.
