LASTMA
2008.03.01
In this picture I show you an example of Nigerian streetlights. They are the people that are meant to direct traffic on Nigerian roads. Without a intricate, automated traffic system, it is near impossible to direct traffic of a megacity just on human instinct. Traffic hold-ups and standstills happen all over time, and most of the time it is because the LASTMA is not letting people of a certain street go. It is really a third-world system and it would create the same amount of jobs, and reduce traffic by investing in a basic traffic light infrastructure.
