"Our humble critic has decided that these two are named Brandy and Whiskey, no Lassies in his opinion. They could certainly give you a little nip!. They eagerly look out at the viewer, their heads and chests are set off by a cheery azure blue background.
Dog portraits are one of the motifs that paint-by-numbers excel in. Subjects are lively and, unlike a portrait of a specific person, easy to identify with by anyone who ever had or knew a dog like the breed portrayed. There are also a lot of kitten paintings. I wonder if more males did dogs and females did kittens."
