Thank goodness for the link. I'd been wrestling with hamster names all through the holidays, and I'm relieved to know that 'Amber' is an acceptable name for a hamster. I don't have a hamster, but I am greatly relieved to know that, if I ever do get one, naming it Amber is not impossible.
