On New Year's Day we didn't do much. We slept in and lazed around.
I took photos of the quick-release adapter that I bought for my large Gorillapod. I got a gorillapod for my small point-n-shoot camera, and then got the large one for my SLRs. You can get them at

kodak.com.
The first thing I did when I got the small gorillapod (a couple weeks ago), was attach it (and a camera) to my dog's harness and take him outside. He took lots of blurry photos and video, but included here is one shot that "he" took (I set the camera's timer and let him run around).
