We finished our day of exploring with dinner at Les Halles, Anthony Bourdain's restaurant in downtown. Yum! |
I really wanted to experience some new neighborhoods that Tyler was eager to show me, so we had a blast exploring. Started in downtown Brooklyn and walked through Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carrol Gardens, down to Red Hook (mostly known for its warehouses/ artists' lofts, the new Ikea, and the wonderful Fairway marketplace) and then the Water Taxi back to Manhattan! We must have walked 5 miles today! More pictures on the previous page...
