the menu. the ingredients that came from farther away are served in smaller portions; the geographically closer ingredients are served abundantly. the closest is Ben Flanner's rooftop farm in Brooklyn, who supplied the mustard greens.

the very last ingredient, "Star Dust" came from outerspace! Actually, it's just licorice powder, a traditional Dutch candy. Very clever, those Dutch.

I finally made it out to Governor's Island! I went there today for "Pioneers of Change", a "festival of Dutch design, fashion and architecture." Met up with Matthew to check out some of the hands-on design-y stuff. It was great, and a beautiful day, to boot.
