A new hobby

The year before last I took an adult hip-hop dance class, but this year I decided to take piano lessons. I took piano for a year when I was 7 or 8, and I hated it. I hated the regimented class, I hated my instructor (who was a horrible, rude old bat), and I hated the boring music I had to play. She made me play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" for my recital. I was disgusted.

Anyway, I decided to try again. My instructor this time around seems really nice. She told me to find whatever music I wanted to play, and when flipping through my lesson book was commenting about how most of the music is boring. So I'm looking forward to this.

Although really (and my husband would agree), the last thing I need is a new hobby. I think one of my hobbies is collecting hobbies. But he's supportive of whatever I want to do, which is awesome. So we'll see how this new hobby goes.
