It was a dark and stormy night...

It rained so hard for about half an hour, and the lightning and thunder were so close! Thankfully our power didn't go out and it was over quickly. Our yard was flooded from so much rain in such a short period.

It's been a weird summer so far up here. We haven't had super warm temperatures, and it's been very wet. Normally this time of year the grass is starting to turn brown from the sun and the colors aren't so vibrant. But this year, everything is very green and lush. It's kind of nice. But I've only worn shorts a handful of times, which makes me sad.
