I set out to photograph closed communities in new york city but I settled for the south side of Williamsburg taking mostly portraits. i wanted to demonstrate the lack of trust these type of communities have in an outsider but i was wrong. although a lot of these people were very uneasy at the idea many of them still let me take their picture..... most of them are latin, one is polish and then theres a crazy preacher called lawrence who hates women
