Sanctuary

The chapel this morning just after sunrise.
pixel
Merged three exposures with PSE 8 to get the balance of the interior with the windows and light.
pixel
Another merge to balance light inside and out. Not sure where the "slight image" at the lower left of the window came from, but I thought it added a "presence" to the chapel.

This is a beautiful chapel at College of the Ozarks in Hollister, Missouri. It's very peaceful and serene outside and inside.

DancingDolphin Excellent to merge photos for the interior! I've never done that but the result is exactly what one wants but can't get with a single shot!

kellybee322 Absolutely beautiful. Very nice work merging the exposures!

NellyBly Very beautiful, great work..maybe there was a "presence" there :-)
NellyBly · 2010-03-01: 20:00
tracyseeger Beautiful light in #1, and the merging has really made a nice image for #2 and #3. The 'ghost' image in #3 kind of looks like light coming in through another window opposite and hitting the wall maybe?
tracyseeger · 2010-03-01: 20:03
lookagain These are all just beautiful, Larry. The light in #1 is just outstanding....love the angle in #2 and the peaceful feeling that exudes from the last one.

BwannaDon Way to go Larry.... bustin out the HDR! These are great, number 2 is eye poppin! My PSE 3 won't do it, but Photomatix is on it's way. Did you autobracket or...?
BwannaDon · 2010-03-01: 20:48
kmack Wow Larry, the lighting in the first picture is fabulous! Is that edited, or did the sky really look like that behind the building? Just beautiful! (but of course, I have a thing for photos of churches hehe)

????? Beautiful set. Lovely stained glass windows.

365edgar Fantastic shots Larry! I'm finding it quite impossible to pick a favorite here~I love the branches reaching for the church in 1 and the inviting composition and color of 2. number three exudes a warmth and silence-a place where one can just rest in silence.

slowpete stunning colour in #1
