This small cactus was in the rough on Trilogy at Vistancia Golf Course, and was just beginning to put out buds.

A small flower along a hiking trail in Sedona, Arizona.

There was just too much character in this old tree not to try to take its portrait!

Yellow bloom with several others waiting their turn.

While in the desert southwest last week, I found some interesting colors and textures in the things that live there.
