Twas The Night Before Christmas

The presents under the tree were GONE!

Oh, there they are! Packed up to go to visit our children and grandchildren!

With lots of food!

And Christmas cookies!

And as I get ready to go out the door, I pause to notice again one of our first ornaments for our tree - a small, inexpensive, plastic ornament representing Handel's Messiah. I always place it near the very top of the tree, because it reminds me of the REALLY important part of the season - the time of year we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
