Butterflies

This one was particularly hard to catch. When it flies, you see the beautiful blue, but when it lands, it closes its wings and you can't see the color.
|
These are some more of the friends we made at the Butterfly Palace last weekend with two of our granddaughters. Emma (8 years old) and Brooklyn (5) had a great time!

They do "flutter by", for sure! The first one is simply perfect and the last one is a great capture - I KNOW how fast they were!

Youir grandchildren must have been delighted with all the beautiful butterflies! #3 "Blue Morphos" are hard to catch a shot of with their wings open. Lovely shots of what looks to me to be a "Scarlet Mormon" in #1 and a "Two Tailed Pasha" in #2. Butterflies are wonderful subjects to photograph and a Butterfly Conservatory is a great place to spend an afternoon in! Great Post Larry

Great I have seen that last one and butterfly farms are amazing I took my daughter and sons to one in Scotland once when they were young.
