This year we decided to put up bird feeders in our small garden area. We're loving the birds, but the seeds that get knocked out of the feeder spout on the ground underneath!

In UK they sell special feeders with trays to stop this happening they are a blessing, but so are the birds beautiful captures busybee · 2012-05-10: 14:11

Lovely birds and you managed to get some good shots of them too! Most birds like black oil sunflower seeds, less waste than ordinary bird seed. Birds are messy though and there will be seed knocked on the ground. Just think of the nice sunflowers that will grow from it..... ArtBee · 2012-05-11: 07:39
