Saturday night, lookagain, (Marsha), and I went on a ghost hunt. We went to Everygreen Cemetery, which is one of the oldest cemeteries in Colorado Springs. It was organized by Stephanie Waters, a real life ghost hunter, who has published several books on the subject.
The highlight of the tour was the chapel and a tour of the basement morgue which is rarely open. Actors from the college told "true" ghost stories, such as the legend of Mrs. Bacon who roams the cemetery, searching for her skull, which was stolen from her crypt decades ago.
Real ghosts????? You decide................

This is the most beautiful tombstone. It is Winfield Scott's headstone, one of the founding fathers of Colorado Springs. He has a quite a story to tell, as he earned his fortune in gold at Cripple Creek.

Holy cow!!! These are weird to the max!!! #8 has so many weird lights and shadows. #9 is incredible - it was almost pitch dark in that room! #s 11 and 15 are just crazy strange and creepy!!! Wow...what an awesome collection of shots from the evening, Betty!
