Christmas 2011 (Shelly's house)

Elain's friend Shelly invited us to have Christmas dinner in her house. Christmas dinner is the primary meal traditionally eaten on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Shelly's husband Mark lighted all his delicated light house on the top.

Trees are always in the sitting room. Mark was watching hockey games with male guests. Their son Lucas was trying to figure out how to play games online at the most deregulation time.

The hosts became very busy when the dinner was almost ready. Before that, I can have some wine and snack on the counter and tell Shelly my stories in LA.

Traditional Christmas dinner features turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, vegetables and raisin pudding for dessert. The turkey should be cut by the most honorable person in the family before served.

Home buffet is very popular here. It's advantage compared to table service is that diners have a great deal of choice, people are seated closer and can focus more on talking. A very happy Christmas Day!
