Out on the Farm

2007.07.21
We went out to the horse farm today, the place that I used to go to when I was a puppy. It's where Mum works. I can't remember why she stopped taking me, but good news! Now she's going to be taking me every day she goes out from now on!

Ozzie doesn't mind me now that I am a Big Girl, but he used to growl at me all the time when I was a little puppy.

Today I discovered that he had a bone...

He didn't want to share, so I circled him and watched him and tried to freak him out so he would give it to me...

It didn't work though, he was being stubborn. Dobermans, hrumph...

So I went and tried to play with the pussy cat, Sooty, instead. I politely asked him what he was up to, you know, just making conversation...

But he didn't want to talk to me, how rude! He ran away. That made me sad... I just wanted to play! I'm a friendly kinda girl!

So I chased him!!! That was fun for a while, but then he went under the fence where I couldn't get him. Not fair!

I tried to stick my head through the fence but I'm just too big now. What a cold, calculating meanie he is!

(Mum got a bit distracted. Apparently Sooty has pretty eyes. I think mine are prettier.)

I gave Sooty one last chance to come and play with me nicely. He was still being stubborn though! Never mind... he'll cop it later.. muhahah!

Anyways meanwhile, Ozzie got sick of the bone and went and sooked to Mum for some attention. His ultimate downfall....

I saw my opportunity and rushed over to claim the bone! I am victorious! Kaya rules! Woo hooooo!

Mum tells me that Ozzie actually let me have the bone cos he was being nice. I don't believe her. I prefer to think it was my intelligence, well-played tactics and witty manouvres that made him give it up. Mum says I'm deluding myself. Whatever that means.

See NOW Sooty wants to play! Too late pussy cat! I got my bone now, not interested any more! Hehe that will teach him...

Mum says to say a very big SORRY to everyone who watches my blog. She's been really really busy and I had to hassle her heaps to keep reminding her or she would have forgotten!

Oh I wish I had fingers to type sometimes, I'd just do it myself.
