At lunchtime today, me, Mum and Dad went for a walk to the local shop. They made me wait outside (rude) while they stuffed around for ages inside talking to the shop man. When they finally came out, Dad was carrying a packet wrapped in paper that smelled soooo good! I wanted to know what was inside!!

We walked down to the park and Dad opened up the paper parcel, and there were chippies!!! They ate all that they could (greedy bums) then I got the leftovers - woohoo! I had to work for it though...

This is one of my best tricks - I can catch food in my mouth when Mum or Dad throws it to me. At home, they make me stand waaay back in the other room, then throw it a really long way. I only ever miss when they give me a bad throw...

I thought I better thank Dad for the chippies. They were very yummy. So I gave him a kiss.

I didn't think I gave Dad enough thanks before. So I went and sat on him. It's a mark of respect, you see (as well as a comfy and convenient seat for me - shhh!).

It was time to go back home so we started walking back through the park. Mum and Dad tried to get me to go near the DRAIN but it's super-scary so I just barked at it.

We don't do this one very often cos I am still a growing pup. But wow! Look how tall I am getting!

Thanks for everyone's comments! Jackie - it's best that giant breed dogs like me don't do too much jumping so our growing bones and joints don't get stressed. I'm a pretty active fit girl though so my vet says a little bit of jumping is ok cos I have good strong muscles to support my bones!
