Today Mum went up to see her friend, and took me too! We just hung out at her friend's place for most of the day, but in the arvo we all piled into her friend's car and headed off to this awesome dog park place! This is Spot...

And this is Archie! Spot doesn't like me that much but me and Archie have lots of fun. He's great to stalk. I like stalking.

It was pretty hot so I decided to go for a quick dip to cool off!

Archie wasn't too sure about the whole swimming thing...
|
But I can be pretty pursuasive when I want to be! I talked him into coming in just a little bit. We splashed around in the mud together looking for bugs and little swimming creatures.

We met lots of other doggies along the way.

I did some serious investigation of the reeds along the water, checking for dead things, good smells, other doggies.. you know.. the important stuff.

Mum handed the camera over to her friend (she's a pro photographer!) and tried teaching Archie how to jump for the stick. He's got the idea here! He just didn't want to hold onto it when he got it!

So I got to show those little white punks how to do it properly!

This is Mum asking me for kisses... awwww Mum... do I have to... we're in a public area you know and the other doggies might see and make fun of me!

Oh o-KAY! Fine. Kisses it is.

I really do love my Mum. I think she loves me too.

After all the lovely-dovey stuff was out of the way, I tried to get Archie play with the stick with me. I think he was kinda over it though.

Spot is a great hunter! He is small and compact and fits in all the little hidey-holes along the riverbank. I'm too big to fit in there, but Mum pointed out to me where he was. I'd completely lost sight of him!

I still couldn't see him, so I stuck my head down one of the hidey-holes. I don't think I will do that again. I got kind of jammed and freaked out.
