It's hard to believe, but someday little baby Luna will grow up to be as big as me (or maybe bigger!). It seems like not that long ago, I was a little puppy just like her!

I used to have those colourful puppy eyes (except mine were greeny yellow), those big feet and those silly floppy ears. Can you believe it was less than a year ago?

It takes humans so long to grow up, compared to us dogs. It's easy for us - we hardly get to see our humans get any older at all, whereas they watch us get born, mature from a cute little puppy into a fully grown dog in our prime, then into an old dog, all in the space of just a few short years.

My coat is changing, look! My old puppy hair is being replaced by sleek new shiny adult hair. I guess that means I'm not a little puppy any more - I am growing up!

One day soon, I will probably start to go grey. And my Mum and Dad will have hardly changed at all. I hope they don't get too upset. I wish I could stick around a bit longer to have more time with them. I think that whoever decided that doggies don't live as long as their humans was very mean. No treats for them!

Anyway, I just want to say a big THANK YOU!!! and FRIENDLY LICKS!!! to everyone who has watched me grow up this year. I am going to be 1 year old very very soon! I'm really excited. I hope my Mum and Dad won't get too sad that time has passed so quickly. I am looking forward to a lot more fun adventure-filled years with them yet!

We love watching you grow up! Make sure mom doesn't quit because you're getting older please! You just get funnier and sweeter with each day. On the days of your posts my family and I love giggleing over your antics at dinner.

STOP!! You're only a year old and you're acting as if you're a senior doggy. You'll be a baby forever in your Mum and Dad's eyes even with a baby sister to watch over. PS - thanks for getting us caught up Charlotte, was starting to wonder if I needed to send another chastisement note.

This one is making me sad....! I don't want to think of Kaya and Luna (or my Molly) getting older. But I am looking forward to the birthday party pictures. Oh, and I LOVE the beach - the sky is so beautiful!
