Lunchtime at the Park

Today was a work-day for Mum and Dad, but Dad came home at lunch time and we decided to get some chippies from the corner store and go to the park for lunch! This is Luna waiting not-so-patiently outside the store. Her ears are a bit silly right now.

We are always hopeful that Mum and Dad will throw us chippies, but it doesn't always happen.

Luna really REALLY wanted chippies (she's such a gutz, she will eat anything).

I decided that there were no chippies for us today, so I went wandering off to the park to explore all the new scents.

Luna stayed and hung out with Dad.

And posed for Mum.

Then posed some more.

Meanwhile, I had been doing some important investigative work of the perimeter (someone's gotta do it) when I found some birdies!!

They were up in the tree...

... taunting me ...

... betting me that I couldn't catch them.

I tell ya what, when I find out a way of growing wings and flying, those nasty teasing birdies are going DOWN!

Oh by the way, this is my pretty pink new collar that Mum got really cheap from the bargain bin. My bet is that it won't last long.. but this remains to be seen.

YAY Dad's got a stick! This can only mean one thing...

FUN!! PLAYING!! JUMPING!! YEAAAAHH! (ok yes I know that's more than one thing - dogs aren't supposed to be able to count you know)

I love playing in the park with sticks. I can still beat Luna at this game cos I am taller and I can run faster. I'm a bit scared what will happen when she gets as big as me though - she's a bit of a live wire..

At the start of the week, Mum has to go to work all day, and we only see Dad at lunch time for a little while. The last part of the week though, Mum works at home and when Dad comes home for lunch, sometimes we do fun stuff like go to the park!
Sometimes he comes home a bit early too and we get to go to one of the big doggy parks too.
Life is good!
