You wouldn't think to look at me, but I'm sick! I have been coughing all night and this morning Mum and Dad took us both to the vet. Turns out we have Kennel Cough. Where they got that idea from I'll never know, cos we don't even live in a kennel!! Apparently we caught it from another doggie, but since we go to so many dogs parks so often, it's hard to know where.

Anyway the vet gave Mum and Dad some tablets for me. Luna is ok at the moment but she will probably start coughing later. The worst part is that we can't go anywhere for like three whole weeks!!

It's ok though cos Dad let us sit out on the front lawn under the tree (our favourite place) while he did car stuff in the garage.

We just sat around quietly and ate some grass and sticks and bits of bone that we found.

I practised my 'feeling sick' face.

Look at my throat! Does it look sore to you? Maybe it's only on the inside, but it's really really sore cos I keep coughing and hacking up bits of phlegm. Mum says 'gross!' but gives me lots of attention so that's one good thing about it!

I think I have the 'feeling sick' face almost perfected, don't you? Another one to add to my repertoire!

Poor babies! I hope you are both feeling better now...its been 3 weeks at this posting so hopefully your cough is cleared up and you are able to play again. Tell your mom and dad to get you the shots so you won't get sick again!

Oh Kaya and Luna, I am so sorry you are sick!! I hate it when my boys get sick, but I am sure Mom and Dad are giving you extra spoiling right now! I love your sick faces that you have perfected!! I wanted to snuggle you up! Get lots of rest on YOUR couch (hehehe) and get better soon!

Poor babies! 'm so sorry you're feeling awful. Tell mom and Dad they've been ordered by your adoring public to take extra good care of you and spoil you rotten! Maybe an ice cream cone to sooth your sore throat? Here in the US, Mcdonald's ice cream cones have magical healing effects on all my kids, human and furry. Get better soon Kaya and Luna. I'm sorry Kaya you need to get better soon!! Theres no use wasting summer. It wouldn't be so bad if I was sick right now because we mainly like to stay in out of the rain but you've got oceans and sunshine to explore!
