Building a dock...

I love my job when I'm not crammed in my cubicle in front of a computer with only a skylight 16 feet above me for a little view of the outside world... Lucky bastards...

This is my jobsite in Dollar Bay... My guys fell putting in this dock... The property used to be used by a power company as a dock for barges to deliver coal for the power plants... It's a Brownfield site which means we can't take any of the contaminated material off the site... Instead of staring at this ugly sheet piling, we decided to cut it down to an even height, pour a curb in the corrugations, and pour this cantilevered deck on top... Eventually we'll get some cleats for boats to moor, but I've gott bigger things to worry about like the beach the owner decided to make without getting permitted... Not my fault... Nope, not taking the hit for that one...
