My polenta “toad in the hole” .... an egg baked in asiago-basil polenta topped with a housesmoked tomato coulis. God, it was so good.

We went to the beach in Rockaway.

It was a real pretty day.

Thought this was a great piece of driftwood. Hope someone likes it.

Then we went to Nehalem

Stopped for ice cream in Gearhart. It was delicious.

Kinda cute ice cream parlor too.

Mmmm... caramel toffee ice cream.

Fabulous set Reminded me I have a driftwood one still to post from last month but not as clear as your shot which is really interesting seeing all the knots and textures.

Wonderful set!! You know I love your dates :) Your food looks great and I don't even like fried eggs! Nehalem looks beautiful and I also LOVE the shot of the guy who is doing his water sports (can't think of what it's called! Brain Fart!)
