These things are there to prevent cars from driving down the streets that lead to the NY Stock Exchange.

So, at first I was excited about passing by the New York Stock Exchange, while walking to the lot where I parked my car. Such an important institution.
|
Then I thought about how what goes on inside those doors has affected all of our lives, one way or another. Making my experience bittersweet.

So, I just marched on to the parking lot, enjoying the old and new architecture of lower Manhattan.
|
Especially the old.
|
That put me in a better mood.
|

Driving along the FDR Drive, I headed North for the Brooklyn Bridge. Here you can also see the Manhattan Bridge in the background. They are both East River crossings - connecting downtown Brooklyn to Manhattan.

Those things they put to stop the cars ought to do it! Great shots of your city. The older buildings and the bridge definitely have more beauty than the newer ones. Thanks so much for sharing.

Ah good.., familiarize me with NY as much as u could. When i come there end of this year, the city wont seem so alien!
