Was out and about today and ended up at the 3rd pic - the wind farm from the water which led me to get to the other two shots. These things are HUGE! And pretty neat. I checked my EXIF data and the two 'closeups' were both at 55mm and still being as far back as I was they dominate much of the frame.
I do like the first shot - the clash between the old weathered barn and the sterile-while, state of the art power generator.
And no there is nothing wrong with your monitors - that IS what my sky looks like. I could rant, but I won't.
Cool shots, shows the meaning of "wind farm".
I know what you mean about the sky, smog kills a lot of distance shots and the crappy weather these days makes everything look dull.
Thanks guys. I'm really starting to warm up to the second shot! It says something to me about an old dirt road (our present) leading to state of the art, clean, non-resource consuming energy (the future).
