A little voice in my head told me to take my camera to work today. Middle of the afternoon I look out my window and a yellow Ducati pulls in. Without missing a beat I'm out there turning it into an impromptu photoshoot.
I've also gotta give this lens a plug. A lot of what I've taken the last couple weeks has been with this. Unless I've made a note about my little prime, it was probably with this - Tamron 55-200 f4-5.6 Di II. Cost? $151.- CDN plus taxes. It's far from perfect, and really I'd like to be using some Canon L glass, but the cost of this thing makes up for its shortcomings. I've actually been using it as my walkaround lens! You heard it here first folks - 200mm on a 1.6 crop camera as a walkabout lens.

ohhh.... this would match my push bike & scooter but would be a dam sight quicker i would bet ;-)
Nice bike, a friend of mine races one, a Ducati 1000SS.
I like the 1st and 4th shot. Too bad it's missing the windshield.
I know what you mean about having a versatile lens, I have a 28-210 f4-5.6 Kiron for a 35mm Minolta, it's about the only one I use on it.
