Country In The City, Pt. 2

Back to digital. I just unloaded my memory card since the harddrive crash and forgot I even took this picture!

Back in the day, just to the left of this property we used to mountain bike. To the left of the trails is a very upper end part of town. Well, the soccer moms had a problem with us mtn bikers and successfully got everyone but Birkenstock wearing treehuggers banned (did I get enough stereotypes there?) Fast forward to today and what used to be the trails is now executive single detached condo's. Gotta love ashpalt. Personally, I'm amazed this little farm isn't bulldozed already but I'm sure some developer has already purchased it as the livestock has been mysteriously absent this year. Across the highway behind my back is the same thing. Amazing hiking/mtn biking trails in natural forest, occassionally we'd come across people on horseback, but that is now just more developement, this time surrounding a golf course. Such is the price of progress.
