A new toy - my first rangefinder! A Voigtlander Vito CLR. I'm not too sure what exact vintage it is but from the research I did they made these around 1959-1965-ish range. I just picked it up so I don't know if it takes pictures yet but so far it looks and acts like new. Manual everything of coarse.
What I find really cool about it is the meter seems to work fine yet there is no power source. Also the aperture is constantly variable, there are no hard stops. Just a dial like a volume control.
It's all set to go with a test roll loaded up so as soon as this cold snap the great lakes region is under goes away I'm going to shoot it off and see if I have a working antique or a paperwieght.

You'll have to post the shots when the weather breaks. I have an old minolta srt-100 and I love it. I know it's not as old as yours, but I know how you feel.
Nice, it has a selenium lightmeter that doesn't require batteries, but being this old, it's probably a bit off. Looking forward to seeing some shots from it.
